Basically, what made you post these pics? How much did they cost? What made you get them?
Inquiring minds want to know!
The minitures that are in the photos above are for the tabletop game Flames of War. They are in the same scale as the mini's for Axis & Allies which are 1/100 or 15mm scale. I bought them for dual purposes. The first being that Shadow and I were chatting one night about various militaristic minature tabletop games. A&A held most of the time for the discussion and Flames of War held only a small part. However, it seemed damn interesting. The second purpose is that in the online game World of Tanks, I play mainly German vehicles. I wanted physical representations of the tanks in my 'garage'.
I posted the pics because they were new mini's that I had picked up.
They were relatively cheap. sort of....
Ferdinand ($12.60)
Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer ($11.25)
Tiger I E (Early) (Kursk/Tunisia Mod) ($12.60)
Panther D (Kursk) ($12.60)
Panzer IVH ($11.25)
The models are decent. The 'main' body appears to be a resin based substance. Very durable. The tracks, barrels, peoples heads and hatches are metal. The Panzer IV has armor plates which cover the sides of the tracks and wheels which are plastic....
