| Good show! It's fun science stuff!!!!! Synopsis Eureka takes place in a high tech fictional community of the same name, located in the U.S. state of Oregon (Washington in the pilot) and inhabited entirely by brilliant scientists working on new scientific advances. The town is operated by a corporation called Global Dynamics (GD), that is overseen by the United States Department of Defense. The town's existence and location are closely guarded secrets. U.S. Marshal Jack Carter stumbles upon Eureka while transporting a fugitive prisoner (his own rebellious teenage daughter Zoe) back to her mother's home in Los Angeles. When a faulty experiment cripples the sheriff of Eureka, Carter finds himself quickly chosen to fill the vacancy. Despite not being a genius like most members of the town, Jack Carter's ability to connect to others, his simple but effective ideas, his above average intelligence in practicality, and his steadfast dedication to his work repeatedly saves Eureka, and sometimes the entire world, from one would-be disaster after another. (Synopsis taken from Wiki, not written by me!) ((Includes Matt Frewer!!!))

| I'm going to have to agree that it is an awesome show! I unfortunately got... I don't know... disillusioned? De-interested (not becoming uninterested, but having interest removed forcibly...)??? Not sure of the time frames, but I saw almost the first whole season when it was first on and enjoyed every episode...then there was a lull during which I THINK they changed networks...anyway when they finally fired it up again I either didn't know about it or didn't have the channel so I missed season 2...NOT a way to keep interest in a show. I would love to sit down and go through it all, but there's just SO much to watch (damn you netflix!!!)!!!
sigh...
You know what...I just looked it up...maybe it was just the whole year between seasons that made me miss it, cuz there's nothing about a huge time span...but still, a whole year between seasons?!
But yes, awesome show! | |

| I lied the show, but I got disinterested with it simply because, well... there was nothing really new about it. Seems to me I've seen the same storylines and plots time and time again.
That's probably why movies don't do too much for me. You can only rehash the same stuff so many times. | |
