Oh my... just when you think you've got Netflix all figured out...

This is more for the readers with little whelps running around watching every damn thing on Netflix. Sure, they know the rating system, and they stick to it pretty good, but sometimes they'll fire up the odd documentary about Macchu Pichu or walruses tearing sharks new ones, and they see the NR rating. I just happened across a blog article of sorts lovingly titled: "Hardcore porn on Netflix Streaming: the top 25" and without checking all of the titles I would be willing to bet a good portion of them might be rated NR.

Apparently these are 'art' pieces, movies with real plot and writing and such, with scenes of sex bordering on hardcore or full-on including hardcore elements. I recognize titles of a couple of them, like '9 1/2 weeks' with Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke, which I always heard had some major sex scenes, but never saw it. Many of them sound like Indie productions with 'real world' style writing, which leads me to believe they would carry the NR rating. So I'm linking the article, cuz if you're kids are watching Netflix for hours on end and you find any of these in your 'recently viewed' section, you might want to think about that...

Okay, spending more time on the descriptions, yes a lot of them carry the NR rating. Not only that, the descriptions are downright funny! For example, the movie 'Spetters' which came out of the Netherlands in 1980 and the blog author gives us the description: A motorcycle gang of man-boys race, drink beer, and have sex. After the
main character becomes paralyzed from the waist down, his girlfriend
does her best to breathe life back into his penis.

Or 'Sassy Sue' from 1973: Farmer Pa Willard worries about his son's taste in females when he sees
Junior gazing at a cow named Sassy Sue, so he tries to tempt the boy
with a series of human hotties in this 1970s sexploitation flick.
