Mozzarella Ham Stromboli Empty
PostSubject: Mozzarella Ham Stromboli   Mozzarella Ham Stromboli EmptyTue Aug 09, 2011 12:38 am

This is just AWESOME if I do say so myself!!

Mozzarella Ham Stromboli:

1 tube (11oz) refrigerated crusted French loaf

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or any cheese you like with ham)

1/4 lb ham

1 Tbsp butter, melted (I use olive oil)

1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese

On a lightly floured surface unroll dough at seam. Pat dough into a 14in x 12in rectangle. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese to within 1/2 in of edge. Top with a single layer of ham. Roll tightly from a short side. Pinch seam to seal. Place seam down on a baking sheet. Brush top with butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.

I also add green onions on top of the ham and serve with stone ground mustard.

I have to say this is one of my favorite dishes to make. It is quick, easy and cheap. LOVE IT!!!!!

This does sound rather tasty. Methinks I will have to make this for supper tomorrow... or would it be tonight?

Anyway, i do enjoy cooking, and try to get my kids involved; this is easy enough that a teenaged boy can handle!
