Due to a recent animated short that got uploaded to youtube, and may or may not wind up on here, I have been playing with Anime Studio. Google it, it's neat. Anyway, this program has always seemed awesome to me, even back when it was a piece of freeware called Moho (long long time ago...), but it has continually kicked me square in the shins all this time. I have an animated shortSHORT here I call "8 Minutes." Why that title? Because it took me 8 minutes to record audio, animate, and render. The video is 6 seconds long, but hey, animation takes time...sigh. If you've ever tried animating, you'll know 8 minutes isn't bad for 6 seconds of footage! So, without further doodoo...except the video, which is crap! (Back in my sarcastic youth I was one of the old guys in the balcony on the Muppets )

The bad thing about checking this site from the Green bay worksite is that they have streaming anything disabled... so all i see is text and blackness.
With that said, I shall respond further because it'd be just plain silly.

Okay. After having finally seen the video, I would like to add that it reminds me a bit of the cartoon Adventure Time.
Other than that, not bad for a first attempt.

Very nice short! This was done I want to assume with Anime Studio? Did you follow the tutorial when you were doing this or was it just a free creation without tut's?

This was freeform. Unfortunately, I did the first two or three tutorials all the way back when it was Moho, and since they never updated them I just can't bring myself to do them again, even though I don't remember half of what is in them! Maybe one of these days...oh, first answer is yes to Anime Studio.
But I do recommend doing the tutorials! I vaguely remember something about how they made clouds and trees, and used varying line widths, then connecting lines to make a complete shape. Don't remember how to do it, but I do remember you can use that technique to make most shapes you might need.
One of these days I should try doing something serious and see how it turns out...hmmmm...

Update. Tested the skeletal animation available in Toon Boom Studio on a cartoon arm. Real quick, real simple. It worked.
