Totally neutral on this movie. It seemed as if it could have been good, but it was just so / so. If they were including mythology into the mix, they could have done a better job; likewise, if they have certain characters predominately displayed on the box art, they should have been in the movie for more than a few second.
I was fine with the movie, I think mainly because of my other readings and interests of this culture, but for people like my wife and youngest, who were asking me to explain things throughout the film... There was just too much in the movie that wasn't explained well enough (or just 'enough') for the casual viewer.
