Lookie what I found!

Okay, so I'll begin by explaining that Colony of War is basically a space Sci-Fi MMORPG, free and played in the browser. It has some dungeon-crawling features, some "sim-city" features, and some nice unit designs. You'll hear more about it as more players jump in here to tell their stories. Now, on to my find! First, here's my Black Troy unit with Justice Sword in hand, heading out to complete a quest in hostile space:


Then, after completing the quest, I find a "reward center" space station in the middle of all this hostile space, and I manage to make it there without getting destroyed. The location is right about:


AND THEN...Once I get there it's time to see what secrets this place has. Holy CRAP!!! Here's a shot of the units (mechs) available there! Expensive, considering I'm not even sure how to get those forms of "currency" but the list of weapons and items are just as impressive!


So for those of you who just hang out around your home sector of space, there is a LOT to be discovered out there! Happy exploring!!!

Just started to venture into the Jupiter Gate on Saturday... was getting my arse handed to me by those jellyfish looking spacecraft; I can manage to take out one and get a second down to maybe half HP, but then I get destroyed trying to do the Barkman quest). Maybe I should start using the shield and HP packs.

Judging by the icons, the currency looks to be fame and bronze / silver medals. The medals you should already know how to get, as they are on the quest board.

And yeah, I know I should go out and explore more, but it's a matter of dedicated time for gaming. I'll usually just pop on, collect my taxes, play my concerts, upgrade a building and research, maybe a quest, and harvest. A few minutes at a pop... not bad, all considering. Oh, I've also been busy making myself known on the chat boards, hoping then that the higher ups won't farm my colony.

Tuesday I'll try to explore a bit more; I'll be getting home by 6pm, and the wifey will be at work. My dealings on Lacuna Expanse will just have to wait is all.

I finally made it back to the UDA Achievement Center (or whatever it's called). Had to find out exactly what all the prices meant. So, I took a pic of the buy screen for their lowest level unit...I guess we can all forget about this place for a few more levels!

I have just obtained the Karabos (wrong spelling) variant of the Vagrant class mech... you know, the 30 day attendance contest prize?

Woo-who! I now have a place to put all those odd weapons I've been holding on to!

Three secondary weapon slots! Transformation capabilities!

This is an add-on "edit" to my above post... just wanted to make a brief mention here: the Contaminated Aliens within the Jupiter Gate seem to be less inclined to attack this new mech (I'd check the name, but I'm at work right now).

Normally, when I was flying about in my Neo Troy, there was probably a 75% of my being attacked outright... with that percentage increasing the closer I got to the Alien (depending on how far away they were from the innermost ring in the radar).

But now? I'd say there is a 50% chance of being attacked when I am right next to them... with the attacks and chase occuring when I have already flown by.

The weapons for this mech are amazing; two attacks, and the Contaminated Alien is destroyed. But in flight mode (its transformation), just one attack from my main weapon will do it!

I should make this into it's own thread, perhaps not... it does certainly fit this thread's title, though, as I want to show off what I've found!
