Due to the recent purchase and use of electronic cigarette "big battery mods" by several of our members, and some research happening on the hobby, I figured it might be nice to try to save some of the more interesting pieces of info we discover. To start things off, Vader and I have been wondering about the local shop guy's push for people learning how to make their own coils, and that the guy teaches classes on making coils also. What's so great about wrapping homemade coils when you can just buy them premade?
I don't have an answer, as I haven't tried making a coil, but I did start looking up how to do it. In that quest, I have watched videos on devices with single and dual coils, and noticed quite a difference. Also, the videos are quite informative on the actual how-to for building your own. NEAT! Well, this evening I found... well... I found a unique character who builds his own coils, and made a nice video showing what's possible with FOUR coils. FOUR. QUAD! Video starts with awesome vapor production, then goes under the hood with the selected parts and shows you how to make the same thing happen.
